Today, I got my math equivalency form signed by the Math department chair, validating that the AP Calculus test which I took 10 years ago did, in fact, equate to first semester calculus at CSUS. You would think that would have been obvious, since the test was specifically designed to indicate competncy in first semester college calculus, and by the fact that I passed 2nd semester calculus at CSUS 8 years ago. But alas, I needed a form, which I got, and delivered to the computer science office, theoretically completing my file and changing my major officially to computer science.
I think I was born without the part of the brain that allows you to just blow off pointless paperwork and inefficiencies, so my annoyance at them grows and festers inside me. Don't tell me to relax; I know I need to...
