Sysadmin Field Notes

bloggin!

February 3, 2004

Scott dished me over his OPML file, a RSS feed description exchange format. Great, except I can't find a decent Linux aggregator. Liferea seems like something I could use, but it crashes every few clicks (in the gtkhtml component I found after compling with debugging and checking it out with gdb, but I don't have the strength to try and install debug-enabled gtkhtml2 libraries so I'll probably never know exactly where).

So I'm trying out rawdog. No OPML support still, but a little sed took care of that and converted the OPML Url's into the format desired by rawdog's config. We'll see how it goes.
