Sysadmin Field Notes

Olfactory observations.

March 8, 2004

It's funny how smells can bring back really powerful memories. Today at school, CSUS smelled like a drum line sectional of yore. Which triggers all those little neurons or whatever and brought back some vivid recollections. I know it's spring and not fall, but the slight chill in the air with the sunny weather was close enough. The smell must be all the trees at CSUS. Scary that I'm reminicing about things that were 10 years ago at the same school, but I'm still going to the school.

But I did take our first exam for class today and (IMHO) aced it, and finished my lab alot ealier than anticipated. This one used actual chips and we had to wire a circuit. I would have been real quick, but one of the switches on my "DigiDesigner" was flaky, and I had to use troubleshooting ju-ju to figure that out. Troubleshooting rules; I don't know if you can learn how or if it's just something about the way people are wired. If any site can teach you though, it would be this one and the associate book.
