Is this blog dead? Almost universally it seems that when I start to have meta-content apoligizing for not posting in a while, that's te beginnning of the end. At the moment though, it just turns out that crunch time on an impossibly scoped project might be the wrong time to also try to buy a new house. Plus, Erik came back and got his computer.
So quick update:
I'll try to reopen the flood gates, but tonight and tomorrow morning instead of playing with my new toy, I'll be building out page flows for marketing offer landing pages. Nuthin' more fun than that.
Congrats! Where's the new place?
Also, welcome to the Mac world. I'm sure you'll love it here. What made you pony up for the switch?
New house is here in Folsom, about a mile and a half away.
Erik took his computer back, leaving me without one...and I spent a lot of time a couple of weeks ago playing with my Grandparent's eMac. So I figured what the hell, I haven't spent a dime on computer hardware in years, I can pay a little penalty. Plus the educational discount helped a bit, and the current deal gets you a $179 rebate if you buy and iPod and a Mac.
So I upgraded to a 60GB iPod photo to go suck my data of Eric's computer with, and a 2ghz dual Power PC with 1GB of RAM.
So far, pretty nice. Lots of windows flying around doing cool stuff, which is what it's all about right? :-)
