I've always considered myself an avid reader. I generally read pretty quick and have a few books in progress at any given time. The other day though, I realized that ever since I started allowing my work to completely monopolize my twice a week train rides, I haven't done much reading.
And certainly just about everything I've read in the past two years is a technical or management book. So I'm use this blog to just document my reading, so that if I forget to make time for reading, or get in a rut of one particular type of book, perhaps I'll have a small record of that to remind me to read more, and branch out.
So I'll be posting some little capsules of the books that I've finished this week (I'll continue to be including some of the management style/theory books that I've been in the middle of for a while and am now finishing).
Then I can actually say "likes to read" and not have to think about the last book I read.
