San Jose Mercury News - Amtrak Capitols locomotive derails, no injuries.

I didnt feel anything at all out of the ordinary when we stopped. I think the mass of trains messes with your notion of physics.

Boy, people love to complain. Human nature I guess, but its not really anyone's fault, and the crew did their best to keep everyone as safe and as comfortable as possible. Considering how bad an accident it could have been, you'd think everyone would be thankful. I was.

At least were moving now.
