Q: When was Hudson born?
A: March 5th, 2003, 10:29 AM
Q: What were his stats?
A: 7 lbs. 13 oz., 19.75 inches long, and a 14 inch melon
Q: What kind of childbirth was it?
A: A totally natural water birth.
Q: No drugs? Are you crazy or some kind of weird hippie?
A: Not crazy, and we're not weird hippies (well maybe a bit of
hippie). Natural just seems like a much better way for the baby, and a much
better experience for the mother. Do some research into natural childbirth
and be amazed at what a better experience it can be. For normal pregancies,
there's no reason not to try.
Q: When was Carson born?
A: October 28th, 11:40 PM (roughly)
Q: What were his stats?
A: 9lbs even, 21 inches long, 1.25 hours in labor.
Q: 1.25 hours in labor, are you serious?
A: You bet. So much for using labor as a way to guilt the child into behaving later in life.
Q: Where was he born?
A: At home, on the floor, the only place Cyndie could get comfortable.
Q: Waitaiminute...at home? You guys are definitely some sort of crazy hippie couple.
A: Not really; home births are safe, comfortable, and much more relaxing. We can't recommend our midwives enough. It rocked; we had Carson right before midnight, and were all in our own bed in a nice quiet house by about 3am.
Q: What does Hudson think of his new baby brother?
A: Loves him. Wants to hug, kiss and hold him all the time. It's the cutest thing.
Q: Do you know anything about raising a child?
A: No way! Well, Cyndie says she does. Hopefully there are books
about raising children....
Q: I'm interested in buying a baby. Are yours for sale?
A: Absolutely not! First off, they are ours and it turns out you get
very attached to your babies. Second off, my mom would
kill us. Actually, depending on the day, we might be able to work out a deal for Hudson...:-)
Q: How long until you guys have any more kids?
A: A while at least...gotta get both of these guys over two years old for sure...then we'll see.
