Speaking

I also forgot to mention that Hudson has all of a sudden developed quite the vocabulary. He's now got lots of sounds that definitely mean a particular thing, and most of them even resemble the English word; ie. something a non-parent could pretty easily be convinced is the actual word.:-) He now says:

  • Doggie = Duh-gie
  • Beans = Beeeeesh
  • Mom = Mom-mom
  • Dad = Dah-die
  • Outside = Dah-die (but by the back window)
  • Food = Yum-yums
  • Up = Up
  • Bananna = Nah-Nah
  • Water = Wah-Wah
  • Snack = Nack
  • Knock = Nah-Nah
  • Bottle = Bah-bah
  • Nurse = Ness
  • Sleep (night-night) = Ni-Ni
  • Grandpa = Guh-pah

I think that's the Hudson to English dictionary at the moment. Many of those are recognizable as words; some of them (particularly "yum-yum") are very, very cute.
