Here's a boatload of photos taken over the holiday season, in one giant batch. Enjoy. I don't think any of these have made their way to flickr yet, I'll post a few of the better ones there.
Update: Added pictures of our Thanksgiving trip
I can't believe he's two already. But he must be, since we just had his second birthday party
Update: Whoops. I apparently never published this entry.
Photos from hanging around the house and various Memorial Day BBQ's.
Hudson took a few of the first ones, he loves to take pictures.
He also can read all of his letters individually, and is very good at figuring out the first letter (by sounding it out) of a word he knows. Disturbingly soon, he's going to be starting to sound out full words.
Carson is cute as a button. Everything is "yeah, yeah, yeah", or "no, no no". They both "rock out" and headbang to daddy's rock music and it's the cutest thing...video must be captured soon.
New Photos, collected over the last few months.
Hope you enjoy.
I've got some photos of the kids that have been sitting around for a while. Finally, some pictures other than in front of our house (although for front-of-our-house fans, there are still a few in there).
Yes, we do go places other than our front yard...I just usually don't get to go, or forget the camera, etc. There's our trip to Albuquerque where Hudson played in falling snow for the first time.
The now obligatory kids in front of the house pictures are here as well. Unusual though, are the park pictures at sunset (and Cyndie's birthday). Those towards the end have some the better pictures I've taken I think (of Carson at least).
Finally, today was Cyndie's work's friends and family pre-opening gig, which was fun for the kids.
I was a little backed up in getting these up here, and there are a ton. I tried to pare it down to the best/most interesting to keep it from being overwhelming. Here are all of our photos from this holiday season.
Whew.
Late to the party, but there's a ton of new pictures. More Hudson Photography (taken by Hudson, so cute, some with the camera self-timer set by dad). And we also have a ton of photos from our trip to Oregon for Thanksgiving.
Enjoy.
If you're interested, you can see some of my more serious work over at my weblog.
Not that we did anything exciting other than take the kids to bounceopolis, weed, and clean the garage, but there definitely some cute photos as a result.
Hudson is now a photographer. I took the ones of him to document the occasion of course.
Here are our Family pictures on Halloween 2005. Yes, if you look closely, I shaved for 50's authenticity.
Hard to believe that it was a whole year ago that we were waiting for Carson to arrive. That time has truly flown by (much like Carson's entry into the world!). Here are some pictures of the cute little monkey on his birthday.
He wanted pretty much nothing to do with cake or presents. Of course, everyone was sick so we had to call off the party, and didn't get to the small festivities until just around bed time. He does like his toys though; he's starting to become aware of things to play with. His favorite of the bunch is a Nerf UCLA basketball from my parents. The kid loves playing ball. Can't walk (just yet), but he can throw a ball. :-)
Obviously, having a digital camera has spurred me to action. Today, carson suggested that I take some practice portraits of him in the front yard. How could I refuse? This look is a classic.
Okay, I've been shooting like crazy. What do I have to show for it?
If that doesn't keep you busy, I don't know what will.
Today we took some pictures as we picked up our pumpkins for fall/halloween decoration.
We went to Zittel gourds in Folsom, and they really had the place set up great for the little ones. Hayrides, pumpkins to pick out, lots of wagons for the kids to load up. Highly recommended. The kids had a great time, check out the photos.
We had a family reunion, and here are the pictures to prove it. Aunt Michelle and cousin McKenna came out, and Cyndie and I both got sick as dogs, making us not much fun to be around, but before I succumbed, we did get the kids out to a day in the park together.
Bursting on the scene with yet another new gallery format for the photos, here are recent pictures of Carson and Hudson.
More adventures of the Meyers as we went from Albe-Turkey
to the the Grand Canyon.
It's pretty Grand, once you get over the fact that it's not just a matte painting, which my brain really had trouble getting over.
A whole lotta new pictures have just been posted.
Hudson is finally feeling better, but Carson's been sick for like a month and just can't seem to shake it. He has started mercifully sleeping again, which is good.
Hudson talks up a storm now, and knows the words for just about everything he encounters. Fun stuff.
That's all we ever say here...more new pictures. This batch covers a very long stretch.
There are two batches that have been floating around for a while...one from November and one from December. There are some really cutes ones there; enjoy!
Update: There's another batch I never finished uploading...sheesh. They are from late October, early November.
In other news, Carson has turned out to be an awesome little sleeper. At this point, he generally sleeps longer than Hudson at a stretch. What a nice surprise!
BTW: Comments are broken for now, I'll try to fix them.
Update: Okay, I fixed comments, so you should be able to add your comments now. There is a "security" code you must now answer, in the interests of stemming the flow of pain from the spammers.
Here are more pictures during Carson's first week, of both Carson and Hudson.
Carson is doing great; he's cute as a button and, while I hesitate to get too excited yet, so far a pretty easy baby to care for. I'm almost afraid to say that out loud for fear that it might change...he had his first pediatrician appointment yesterday, and everything is normal (in case you need a traditional PhD to tell you that in order to feel better :-)).
All in all, the family is doing great. Hudson is adjusting ok for the moment, but still getting used to the idea. Miles barely noticed. :-)
As promised, here are the pictures from Oregon. Some very cute ones of Cyndie as well as Hudson.
More new pictures, these from Amy's shower and earlier in the month. There are a lot of pictures of the house too, but there are some very cute ones of Hudson sleeping in his backpack.
Here's the latest batch. Included is the latest Cyndie belly picture.
Here's a whole new batch of pictures, and a cute video of Hudson with his turtle backpack (which we co-opted into a diaper bag. He's also basically sleeping through the night now, pretty consistently only waking once for a quick swig or two off the bottle, then back to sleepy land. Thank goodness.
Next week we find out the sex of "thing 2" as we've come to call the latest addition. Stay tuned.
Hudson is sicko again. Fever of right around 104 at times; it's so sad because he just gets quiet and cuddly. He seemed in better spirits today though at times, perhaps we've got it licked.
I also added the pictures I've added to the pictures page so they are more obvious to find, and here's another batch to boot.
Aren't I doing a good job of keeping the pictures coming?
Here is yet another batch of pictures, these taken with our new digital camera (since we thought Hudson broke the old one, but it turns out he didn't). There's a few other shots in there as well, you'll just have to put up with those to get to the Hudson ones. There's a movie too; the quality is good, but the content is pretty boring; don't bother downloading it unless you are really bored or have a fast connection.
Enjoy!
Okay everyone, stop the presses, we've got new pictures (at long last!), and they are cute. Check them out. Oh, and I moved the journal to the front pagel it's a little rough around the edges, but I'll clean it up later.
It is way, way too late in the evening to still be up updating this page (12:35AM), but it's been so long that I just have to get this out the door. Hudson is over 9 months old now and that is hard to believe. But now when we look at him we're starting to see a little boy and not a baby. He's into everything! On 12/12, he took his official first steps. He's taken a step or two here and there to get from furniture to furniture, but this was a real couple of steps headed towards Mommy. Awesome. Now he's even more mobile, and can annoy Miles even more effectively...:-)
He's also quite the little trooper. Cyndie took him in for his 9 month checkup, and it turns out he's got two ear infections and a respitory infection that was almost pnuemnonia. We couldn't even tell...now that will make you feel like a bad, bad parent.
He looked so cute in his pumpkin outfit for halloween, courtesy of Grandma (much better/easier to deal with than the black widow costume we almost got). His first christmas is really going to be fun; he's actually going to be old enough to enjoy it, which rocks. He's already got a taste of Santa (not a fan!) and some presents (a few random pictures in there as well).
He's had a pretty good time in Oregon when he's gone; here's him and the family up there. And finally, he's taking after his old man and will soon have mad coding skills. We've got some videos on the digital camera as well that I just need to convert to mpeg, andthen I'll load 'em up here and you can see him in action.
Updated: I fixed the links, because they were a little off once archived.
